New Club Uniforms for 2024 have been issued on Opening Day 27th April
The new design has been well received and will be used on many Club internal and external competitions.
29th April
Our Friday Triples League commences at 10;30 on 3rd May after a delay caused by heavy rains.
Our Sunday Pairs League, Sponsors have been notified and they will be handing out the playing order for their teams in due course the competition starts at 10;30 on Sunday 9th June.
Monday 6th May
Annual Commonwealth Day Tournament.
Ten teams of four Members played four games of triples, six ends each with the nearest wood scoring three points, second nearest two points, and third nearest one point. Despite the heavy rains after lunch the Tournament was played to a finish, and a very close finish it was.
Winners were team Canada -Shirley Asker - Jackie Pracy - Reg Pusey - Reg Beasley, who won three games to scores six points and a shot total of 86, which was one more than Australia - George Cripps- Allan Downey-Sharon Turley-Ron Watts who also scored six points and only 85 shots.The winners prize of a bottle of fine wine each went to Canada by the narrowest of margins.
